Binibining Migrante 2026 / In Our Beauty
Since 2012, the United Domestic Workers Association have been campaigning for better rights and protections for domestic workers, including survivors of trafficking and modern slavery.
UDWA are now presenting Binibining Migrante 2026, a beauty pageant staged by a group of Filipino women who are survivors of trafficking and modern slavery, where they reclaim the stage and beauty on their own terms. The pageant is being recorded for short film In Our Beauty (dir. Aria Danaparamita), which documents its journey to stage, and features design by Laura Hopkins.
