The Circuit by Moi Tran
The Circuit is an improvised, durational movement piece conceptualised by Moi Tran, presented by a group of dancers and a live musician. The Circuitous track represents continuum and journey, whilst the action of walking speaks of commonplace, everyday rituals and behaviours that tend to be overlooked.
The Circuit will be performed at the Oval Space on Thursday 18 Jan from 6pm at Oval Space and on Thursday 23 Jan from 3pm at RootStein Hopkins Parade Ground.

Fanny & Alexander
Laura Hopkins is designing the costumes for Fanny & Alexander at the Old Vic. The Ingmar Bergman film is being adapted for the stage by Stephen Beresford and Max Webster.

Natasha Chivers is lighting designer and Nick Powell provides music and sound design for Bad Roads at the Royal Court. This new play by Natal’ya Vorozhbit tells the stories of women in wartime.

The Last Ship
The Last Ship, a new musical by Sting, will have it’s UK premiere at Northern Stage, directed by Lorne Campbell and designed by 59 Productions.

Ian Scott is lighting designer of Duet For One at Birmingham Repertory Theatre from 22 September to 7 October.
Dido, Queen of Carthage
59 Productions are the projection designer for Oslo – winner of Best Play at the 2017 Tony Awards. The production will be at the National Theatre until 23rd September when it then moves to the Harold Pinter Theatre, West End, booking through until 30th December.
Man to Man
Andrzej Goulding is video designer on Man to Man by Manfrage Karge. It has been translated by Alexandra Wood and is directed by Bruce Guthrie and Scott Graham. It follows the life of Ella, a woman who survives Nazi Germany by taking on the identity of her dead husband. Video effects are used throughout the production to evoke 1940s Germany and Ella’s journey.

Fantastic Mr Fox, with movement direction by Ayse Tashkiran, has been nominated for ‘Best Show for Children and Young People’.
Opera North’s Turandot, which was designed by Joanna Parker, has been nominated for an ‘Achievement in Opera’ award.
